It seems while the world is focused on Hollywood, there seems that movie news is still coming out from Australia, as news has hit that Tomorrow When The War Began will start filming in September on a sequel.
The working title Tomorrow When the War Began 2, will be based on the second novel (In the Dead of the Night), and no news if all the cast from the last film will return.
The release date is not set on the sequel, but will likely follow the September release of the original (probably in 2012), which was the highest-grossing Australian film of 2010, and also won the Best Adapted Screenplay award at last year’s AFIs.
What’s the date for when they start filming i heard it was the 14th is this true or not?
Posted by Joanna Minas | 12/07/2011, 8:10 pmLast I heard on this was that it was going to start shooting in September, aiming for a mid-year 2012 release. Not sure of the particular day, but it seems there is some chatter in NSW about it happening soon!

Posted by kellie | 19/11/2011, 7:34 amIt seems that while the quote that it is cancelled only came from an actor Lincoln Lewis that it is not going ahead (not an confirmed cancellation), because I, Frankenstein was confirmed to be directed by Stuart Bettie it seems it is dead in the water for the moment
